I'm Umar. I got into TikTok Shop when I was just 18 — and I've been scaling brands on the platform since the day it launched in the U.S. in 2023.
My first brand was HardyPaw, where I worked as a TikTok Shop strategist and helped scale it to half a million dollars in sales. Then I worked with Magnaware, a high-ticket cookware brand with an average order value of around $250, and helped scale its TikTok Shop from zero to eight figures in six months.
After that I spent 9–10 months as a paid media manager at Amie Social, a top beauty marketing agency serving Ulta and Sephora brands — including Kiko Milano, Dime Beauty, OSEA, Blake Brown, Hanni and Le Monde Gourmand. Then I joined DedCool as their TikTok Shop strategist and helped grow it from $90K to $250K.
At 21, I spent two months as a consulting Creator Strategy & Community Lead at a YC-backed social commerce startup, building their creator community from zero to 500 creators in the first month.
Now I'm building Reimei — my own AI-native agency for creator-led live streaming and TikTok Shop growth.
Platforms like Reacher, Euka and Cruva give brands access to creator databases for short videos. But there's no AI-native platform where a brand can hire creators specifically for live streams, at set live-stream rates.
Nobody is doing this well right now — and I think every brand selling on TikTok Shop will need it. That's what I'm building with Reimei: an AI-native agency for creator-led live streaming and TikTok Shop growth. It's why I'm taking the next step seriously — to learn how to build AI into the product properly, end to end.
Available for TikTok Shop strategy, paid media, creator-community builds, and Reimei partnerships.
